*You'd Never Know 人不可貌相

In the State of Zhao,there was once of a schlar by the name of Gongsun Long.He was a vain man and thought highly of himself.
"I don't keep company with people who have no talents, "he told his disciples.
One day a man dressed in rags came up to him saying , "Please take me as your disciple."
After looking the man up and down , Gomgsun Long replied coldly,"Tell me about your talens."
"Well," said the man, , "I have a loud voice whice can travel very far."
"Is there anyone among you who has a loud voice ?" Gongsun Long asked his disciples.
"No,sir!" they replied.
Gongsun Long took the man as his disciple. His other disciples were secretly langhing among themselves. "What is the use of a long voice?" they sneered.
A few days later,Gongsun Long and his disciple had to make a trip to the State of Yan.
They came upon a large river.However,not a boat was in sight except one lying on the distant shore.
Gongsun Long told his new disciple to prove his talent. The man gladly heeded the request and bellowed across the river. Very soon the boat was rowed over to ferry them all.
趙國有個學者名公孫龍，為人驕傲自負。他曾對弟子說：：「我不會和沒有本領的人交往。」一天，有個衣衫襤褸的人，走上前對他前：「請您收我做徒弟吧！」
公孫龍打量了那人一番，冷冷的問道：「你有何本領？」
那人回答說：「我有一把洪亮的聲音。」公孫龍問弟子道：「你們當中有沒有聲音宏亮的？」弟子回答說：「沒有。」
於是公孫龍收那人做徒弟。其他弟子竊竊私語，還暗暗地嘲笑道：「聲音宏亮有什麼用？」
過了幾天，公孫龍有事要到燕國去。他們來到一條大河前，可是卻見不到岸邊有渡船，只見一艘停泊在遠遠的對岸。
公孫龍著另新弟子施展其技。新弟子欣然答允，便大喊一聲。大久，那艘渡船就划過來，載他們渡河去。

* 我想像的國中生活 = )

六年輕鬆愉快的國小生活，突顯了國中那種沉重的課業壓力、被父母「望子成龍，望女成鳳」的期望壓的喘不過氣。國中生必須要面對許多的考題，當然也包括兩年後的基本學力測驗，那對國中生來說都是一項很艱難的考驗。第一志願，是許多國中生的夢想，但是要考進並不容易，必須要付出許多的時間、許多的精力，當然也需要自己的用功努力，否則，這一輩子與第一志願無緣了。許多的國小生都把國中看的太簡單了，似乎只要隨便了事就可以輕鬆的應付基測，但是，那只是「想像」，與現實差了一大截，想像總是愉快又簡單，現實則是殘忍又無情。國小讀的很混，國中自然就讀的很苦，但想想也只能自己怪自己，怪自己不夠用功，怪自己不夠努力，但往往到了基本學力測驗才會想起自己的混水摸魚，自己的渾渾噩噩，到那時才補救才發現太晚了。想像跟現實是成反比的，想像越是愉悅，現實就越是殘酷，也許，不要把國中生活想想的太輕鬆，到時才不會覺得自己太天真吧！
